Hello I Had A Cut In My Toe Nail Which

Hello I had a cut in my toe nail which became infected. The doctor has given me antibiotics. 3 days in I have pus around the wound . Should I be worried will it dry up ? I still have 2 days to go on my antibiotic course. I have just started diabetic treatment this week too.
