Hello, I Had A Laceration Four Days Ago To My

Hello, I had a laceration four days ago to my left forearm that required 5 under stitches and 9 upper stitches. I feel fine, but today when i took my dressings off i noticed a rash around the entire wound along with pus like drainage. I don't know if this is something I should have a doctor take a look at or if this is completely normal. I also don't know if I'm not letting it air out enough... should I not wear the dressings when i sleep at night? (I wear the dressing when i am at work) Any advice would really help as I am very worried.
