Hello, I Had A Natural Miscarriage 8 Months Ago And

Hello, I had a natural miscarriage 8 months ago and I still haven't done the d&c, after the miscarriage everything is fine for me my period is normal. Is It necesarry for me to do D&C?

Ps. My baby was only 13weeks when he/she died. He did not have any hearbeat when we came to the OB and my OB advised me just to go home and wait for It to come down and it did.
