Hello. I Had A Pedicure At A Salon I Had

Hello. I had a pedicure at a salon I had never been to a week ago. In the last three days the big toe on my left foot has been very itchy underneath the nail to an uncomfortable point where I am digging my toe into the ground (burning itch). No other symptoms. Should I seek medical care, what might this be, and what can I do to alleviate the feeling?
