Hello I Had A Root Canal Done About 2 Weeks

Hello I had a root canal done about 2 weeks ago on number 31, today they took out the temporary filling and put on a temporary crown till my permanent comes in. They filed my tooth down and it was sore around the gum line. I noticed tonight while brushing that while that area is tender there's also a little puss on the side of my cheek next to the tooth and a little blood coming from the gum line where I used to have a wisdom tooth removed years ago that the tooth was against. Is this normal for being the first day or sign of an infection? Or food from the day getting trapped between the temporary crown and gum line?
