I had nexplanon birth control inserted less than a month ago.
Previously I was using valerian root to help me sleep.
I have read that valerian root affects oral birth control effectiveness.
My GYN was not able to answer whether valerian root will interact with nexplanon and affect its effectiveness and I cold not find any study about it.
Will valerian root affect nexplanon effectiveness as birth control and it there any other herb that could be used instead of the valerian root and not affect birth control?
