Hello I Had Strep Throat About 2 Weeks Ago, Confirmed

Hello I had strep throat about 2 weeks ago, confirmed by testing. I had a rocephin shot and 10 days of omnicef. Since then, every afternoon I get chills and fever and my lungs are junkyard. I've been using my rescue inhaler a lot more than usual. The doc says I probably had something viral going on too but it seems to be lingering. I hate going to the doctor and I keep thinking I can ride this out. Should I be concerned?
