Hello,
I had the TVT tape done in 2007, and then another mesh put on top of it. along with a bladder sling, and rectum repair in 2013. I've had problems having bowel movements, now have a grade 2 prolapse of my bladder once again. I didn't go back to the last doctor as she had to do 3 revisions on the last surgery.
I saw a new ob doctor this past week and she is the one that is telling me that I'm at a grade 2 bladder prolapse, she referred them to hip replacements, they're only good for 5 years, seriously? Is this true? Do they really have a time limit? I've never been told this before, that loosing weight and using hormonal creme would help.
I felt like she walked in not even intending to do anything, her mind made up. My niece is a medical assistant and says she thinks a grade 2 prolapse isn't anything to fool around with, especially infection.
I'm one frustrated and confused woman!
Help..
Cindy
