Hello, I Have A 8 Year Old Son That Presented

Hello, I have a 8 year old son that presented with Croup symptoms earlier this week, he is now complaining of sore throat, cough (not seal barking), sneezing, oral temp that fluctuates from 102-99 and he says he can't hear right sounds funny. I am not one to go to my pediatrician for a little thing but with the holidays approaching wonder if I should still treat as a head cold or seek attention...
