Hello I Have A Concern About Some Results I Have

I have a concern about some results i have just received.

Due to no menstrual cycle for the last 3 months my doc reffered me for an ultrasound. The ultrasound came back with me having polycystic ovaries and a thickened endometrial lining (14mm). She has then referred me to our local hospitals gyn/ob unit.

What couls this all mean? Ive been on the internet and a lot of where its leading is down the cancer path, is this correct? What other symptoms would I have if it was cancer?

My local hospital can take months to get a referral organised so im beginning to get worried.
