Hello, I Have A Couple A Questions. I Started Taking

Hello, I have a couple a questions. I started taking Ortho Micronor in October/2015. Stopped having a period since November/2015. I stopped taking it in February/2016. I had my first period in March 27,2016 and it ended in March 31 2016. My husband and I had unprotected sex on April 1, April 10. My period is late and i took a Pregnancy test 5 days after its late and negative.
Doctor said that its normal not to have a period after stopping this type of pill, right away and it can take up to 4 months in some cases. They said that not to count the first time you bleed as your first period after stopping the pill unless its been more than 4 weeks to 2 months.

1. Can i be pregnant and just need to wait longer?
2. Can this type of Birth Control cause any damage Fertility wise.
3. How long is it recommended to wait until i should see a doctor?
