Hello. I have a few questions. I went to the ER 2 days ago after waiking up to excruciating pain in my lower stomach area. I rushed to the hospital and had a ct scan and an ultrasound performed, i was told i have a large cyst on my right ovary. I was referred to an ob/gyn this morning and was given an exam when i finished i started bleeding, not spotting which is sometimes normal when getting an exam it was as if i started my period 8 days earlier. Is this normal to bleed that much? And would i need to have surgery to get the cyst removed?
