Hello. I have a grandson who says he needs surgery on his back. He is 24 years old and says the dr. said he needs a new disc and also spinal fusion. This is in his lower back. But what he says that doesn't sound like the truth is that he needs to lie flat in bed for 2 weeks after the surgery.
