Hello, I have a large submucosal fibroid, (nearing 9 centimeters about a month ago) I have experienced heavy and irregular bleeding with anemia. I had 3 blood transfusions between February and May. I was told in March that the fibroid appeared to be degenerating, but in April it had since grown. Can fibroids grow and degenerate simultaneously? Can the fibroid be the source of a very foul vaginal odor? Thank you for your time
