Hello, I Have A Lower Fibula Fracture Approximately 20mm Above

Hello, I have a lower fibula fracture approximately 20mm above my ankle right leg sustained by direct impact after x-ray it is aligned and have kept weight off with crutches and lateral support boot fitted for 8 weeks.
As pain subsided I removed boot 48 hrs ago but today noticed swelling to my foot/lower leg accompanied by onset of dull ache behind knee joint upper inner thigh enough to keep me awake there is still bruising to the site but most of the the bruising has cleared still keeping weight off any possibility of applying weight/cessation of using crutches?...many thanks...
