Hello, I have a question about The Pill.
I have been on the pill for about 9 weeks now. During that time I have only taken the active pills meaning I have not had a period before I started them. The last couple of days I've started bleeding. It first started of a brownish colour and now it's full on blood red. It's not heavy but it's definitely not something I have experienced whilst taking the pill. I have taken the pill at the exact same time every night, however a couple of nights ago I took it 2 hours late.
My fiancé and I are sexually active and use the pill as the only form of contraception.
I'm just wondering why I'm bleeding now when I haven't at all for the last 2 months. I haven't ever had a period on the pill before so I wouldn't know what's normal but I haven't had my normal menstrual symptoms I used to get.
Is this normal? I would have expected some bleeding in the first few weeks but not this far into it.
