Hello I Have A Question About Boils On The Inner

Hello I have a question about boils on the inner thigh, I occasionally get one from time to time but never had any treatment from a doctor, I got one yesterday and it was really big and painful, today it's still there and BIGGER! I have never had one this big before the actual boil is about the size of a golf ball and the swelling around it covers almost half my thigh, Its very purple and red and swollen very bad, I wrapped it in a bandage in case it popped as I am at work and couldn't take the day off, I'm really concerned now should I go to hospital?
