Hello. I Have A Scar Above My Lip To The

Hello. I have a scar above my lip to the side of my nose that is about 7 years old. Have never had any issues with it but recently a small, hard mass that has always been inside the scar became infected and in the last 3 months i have had two abscesses occuring in the scar. Should i be concerned of these? Cosmetically they are very unappealing and have to drain them regularly of pus. Usually taking 3 weeks at a time to heal.
