Hello, I Have A Severe Itching Scaling And Sometimes Weepy

Hello, I have a severe itching scaling and sometimes weepy condition all over my scalp and associated itching and flaking of my inside ears. I have also developed itchy scaling skin in the corner of my eye lid which is quite tender to touch. This condition has been ongoing now for about 12 months and has seemed to get worse. I have been to the doctor who to use a dandruff type shampoo and some ointment for my scalp but it is quite difficult to get it on the area as my hair is thick and I don't have anyone to assist.
