Hello. I Have A Slight Slit In My Right Tonsils

Hello. I have a slight slit in my right tonsils and tend to get food that I eat stuck in it. Having to cough it up or pick it out. Just today I feel as if I'm swallowing my tonsils or something is stuck and wont swallow. I dont know what any of this means
