Hello. I Have A Spot On My Hip. This Isn't

Hello. I have a spot on my hip. This isn't the first one I've had. I get them often. Typically they are on my waist line. They swell and turn bright red. Then the center will turn a purple/black color. I typically just pop them while in the shower, clean them with alcohol when I get out and put a bandage over them. I was just curious as to what they are or if there is away to get them go away an stay gone.
