I have a thin piece of skin attached and hanging from my uvula; I noticed it yesterday for the first time and it has been causing pain since. I recently had two of my wisdom teeth removed and currently find myself taking amoxicillin 875mg to avoid infections. I'm 18 in good health, don't smoke. Is it possible I have some type of infection even though I'm taking the antibiotic? Could this be a side effect of the medicine? Could it be viral? Or maybe early signs of a papilloma?
