Hello. I Have A Very Inflamed Tendon Over My Inside

Hello. I have a very inflamed tendon over my inside arch - have had several injections which provide temporary help for a few months. Have considered having the tendon redone.
Outside of surgery to rebuild the arch, the dr. is recommending an arizona brace. How bulky are they - are they helpful - is there another avenue to pursue
