Hello I Have An 87% Blockage In My Carotid Artery,

Hello I have an 87% blockage in my carotid artery, is there any need in having it unblocked when I won't be able to take their plavix and statins after surgery? The meds are not debatable, I have a heart stent and was on those meds for a year and they totally destroyed my quality of life by keeping me bedridden.
