Hello, I Have Asthma And Had A Flu Which Made

Hello, I have asthma and had a flu which made my asthma flare up. I went to urgent care on Saturday and they gave me 20 mg prednisone one per day for five days. I am not sure that is enough as my regular doctor normally would give me 20 mg twice a day for several days and then one a day for two or three days. I feel better after four days of taking them, but not 100%...still some chest and breathing issues...just hard to breathe off and on. Should the steroids be working and I should be over it within in three days or does it take several days to really work?
