Hello , I Have Back Pain I Take Norco 10/325

Hello , I have back pain I take norco 10/325 for it . My spine specialist says I will require surgery in January . I have been Diagnosed with a tumor on my liver last week , seeing my dr for pain meds today since Drs told me to stop taking Tylenol all together . Should my doctor prescribe something without Tylenol because he really likes norco
