Hello! I Have Been Battling A Bad Cold The Past

Hello! I have been battling a bad cold the past week with a completely congested nose and breathing through my mouth day and night because of it. I have a lot of phlegm! My voice sounds like I am sick now too and I noticed I've had pain near my voice box at the bottom of my throat in the front. It hurts when I breathe in, kinda like a burning feeling. Also when I touch that area it hurts too. Do you know what this could be? I'm worried. I tried googling it and don't see much of why it would hurt when I touch it outside and in.
