Hello,
I have been having hip issues with my left hip snapping and popping out of place. The popping occurs with every step I take and is audible. Some days my hip becomes extremely sore. Also defecating sometimes causes my left foot to tingle and go numb. I have an MRI arthogram scheduled to check my hip joint however I think that my body may be telling me that there is a bigger picture here. I am 20 years old and a female. I am a very active person, a college cheerleader, and stretch often. In the past year (and increasingly so since I noticed my hip issue a month ago) my whole body aches and I feel tired easily even with a good nights sleep. When I try to focus on my homework it is very hard to do so. I feel like sometimes my mind is not with me and my bodies constant reminder that it hurts everywhere makes it hard to focus as well. I feel pain in my left hip and right shoulder joints. I also feel like my arms, legs, and neck muscles are all heavy and sore. All I want to do is lay down. I have been diagnosed with having costochondritis attacks and I have been having more attacks recently as well. These cause me so much pain and they always occur around 10pm-2am and the attack lasts more than a few hours. Nothing I can do relieves the pain except for xanax which I have prescribed for my anxiety that accompanies the attacks. I know this is a lot but I was hoping maybe some of my symptoms would ring a bell and I could at least go into a doctors office with questions and an idea of where to start. I have tried to bring these issues to doctors in the past but end up only being treated for one symptom instead of being holistically treated. I would really like to be able to focus and be free of pain again.
