Hello. I Have Been Having Nose Bleeding Off And On

Hello. I have been having nose bleeding off and on since 2011. I believe it is because I have been eating (food) or have (Drank) too much alcohol on the first occasion while celebrating my birthday. It hasn't been a regular occurence but too few to accept casually. It had been a little over a year since my last episode until it happened again this week. I managed to get it under control after three stop and start incidents. I noticed that my ankles have been swollen for a few days. I also cannot stand too long before I feel tightness in my chest (Left side) and have too sit down until it passes. I don't want to diagnose myself but can't help wondering if it has something to do with my heart (the latter symptoms).
