Hello. I Have Been Off The Pill For A Few

Hello. I have been off the pill for a few months since I was unable to go to my usual gynecologist back in my hometown. I decided to finally find a new one in my new area. I have one full pack (one month) of birth control pills with me. I am planning on scheduling an appointment shortly. Is it OK if I start up taking this pack that I currently have, assuming that my old prescription will just be refilled?
