Hello I Have Been On Birth Control For 4 Yrs

Hello I have been on birth control for 4 yrs the same pill and my period has always been on schedule with the pill. Today a week early i have gotten some light bleeding and some cramps. Is my period early? Is this normak? I am very sexually active and am worried. I never miss the pill and take it as directed.
