Hello. I Have Been Sick Coughing Up Chunks Of Mucus

Hello. I have been sick coughing up chunks of mucus both hard and liquid same as for blowing my nose with some parts having blood. I am in medication for other things, but my sister gave me a few penicillin (1174-93). So my questions are 1) if this will interfere with my other meds and 2) if this will help me at all
