Hello, I Have Been With My Girlfriend For Almost 3

Hello, I have been with my girlfriend for almost 3 years now (I am female as well) since I have known
her she has on occasion come up with hard bumps on the pubic region of her vagina..on one occassion I was asked to take a look, and there happen to be a ingrown hair inside, However, this time it started of with one, then 2 smaller ones appeared and now 2 more have appeared. She is a picker, so anything on the body that can be scratched or picked or popped she's the one. My main concern is could this be herpes, or boils..I ask if they itch or burn or are painful she says no, just when she is working her pants tend to rub against her. any advice will help..Thank you!
