I have been with my husband for 10 years and I recently contracted HSV1 4 months ago. I gave him oral sex 4 days ago without protection ( I did not have any visible sores on my mouth at all) and then we had unprotected sex. Yes - completely irresponsible!!:( I would like to know what are the chances of my husband and I contracting GHSV1, if nothing has shown up in 4 days? I do not believe I was shedding at the time, but I have not had an outbreak since I found out I had HSV1 over 4 months ago. PLEASE HELP I DO NOT WANT TO TRANSMIT GHSV1 TO MY HUSBAND AND I WILL NEVER BE THAT IRRESPONSIBLE AGAIN!!! :(
