Hello, I Have Gerd, And I Was Recently Told That

Hello, I have gerd, and I was recently told that I have a small hetal hernia. I thought the nexium was just not working anymore after more than five years of taking it. my gerd gets so bad that it feels like something is stuck in my chest and throat . I recently have a barium swallow which revealed the hernia. My question is can a hernia heal with diet change and weight loss ?
