Hello , I Have Had A Large Water Blister Form

Hello , I have had a large water blister form on my big toe and I have done no walking to speak of to cause it. I was checked for diabetes but did not have it yet Doc said it was close and told me to stop eating sugary foods or sweets. So I have I don't understand what would cause this huge blister
