Hello! I Have Had One Pregnancy Almost 2 Years Ago.

Hello!
I have had one pregnancy almost 2 years ago. I did not carry full term, I miscarriaged at 21 weeks and I had to have a DNC done because my body wouldn't miscarry on its own. Since then me and my husband have been trying to conceive and it just isn't happening. I'm fertile and my doctor says everything is okay, and vise versa for my husband. I've been told that if I get on birth control for a couple months and then quit taking it and try to conceive, that it might work and I'll get pregnant. That's just something I heard. We really don't know what to do from here since our doctor says we are both capable of having a child. Please give me advice if you have any!!
