Hello, I Have High Blood Pressure And I Monitor It

Hello, I have high blood pressure and I monitor it daily. I have been given 2.5 Lisinopril but I do not take it daily due to drop in bloodpressure when taken everyday. I explained this to my doctore but I notice that in the fifth day my blood pressure rises. Am I doing the right thing for my blood pressure if I am monitoring it everyday?
