Hello. I Have Never Had Pink Eye In My Whole

Hello. I have never had pink eye in my whole life. I am 32 years old. I woke up on November 15th with redness, and swelling below my right eye and my right eye lid. Since then both eyes are very bloodshot, swollen, itchy and sore. I also have a sore throat, very stuffy nose and body aches. I have been using a prescription for pink eye since yesterday morning but they are not improving at all. If this is virus should I just let it run its course or should I go into the doctor?
