Hello. I Have Noticed That I Have A Bruise Like

Hello. I have noticed that I have a bruise like patch on my left temple that is just darker and doesn't have any swelling or pain. It's not a bruise! What could it be and cause it.
I haven't been out in the sun lately and I don't lay on my face.
I have had it around 1-2 months or so and it come and goes in the same spot!
