Hello, I Have Pityriasis Rosea And It Started As A

Hello, I have pityriasis rosea and it started as a mild rash on my stomach and so I went to the doctor and they gave me some steroid cream. About a week has passed and I was told to only use the cream for a week maximum and since using it my rash has completely flared up and is now all over my stomach, back, chest and arms and is itchier than ever. I had the disease just over a year ago but can't exactly remember what was prescribed to get rid of it. Can you suggest anything?
