Hello , I Have Recently Been Prescribed Divalproex Sidium ,

Hello ,
I have recently been prescribed Divalproex Sidium , generic name, 250 mg twice daily for compulsive disorder. I am also on Gaberpentine 100 mg 3x day for nerve pain from lower back injury. My question is since both these medicines are technically seizure meds, will they interfere with each other or be overdose issue?
