Hello, I Have To Sores On My Tongue, One Towards

Hello, I have to sores on my tongue, One towards the front, and one towards the back. The one on the front is very small (just like a dot) and the one on the side is quite large with two extra white dots. The large one has white stuff around it and is red in the center, and the center is also very rough and dry. This is the 4th day I've had them and the pain has gone down some. Are these some sort of viral infection? Or a canker sore? Can you please tell me what these are? Thanks in advance.
