Hello, I Just Noticed I Have A Hard, Painless Lump

Hello, I just noticed I have a hard, painless lump in my thoracic spine region to the left approximately the size of a nickel. I have suffered from neck and back pain for a few years which had gotten worse with the birth of my son 19 months ago. Lately I have been having more pain in that region of my back but nothing I would necessarily think is out of the ordinary. I also have a herniated disc at C5, C6. The lump.is palpable although I can not make out clear edges. Is this something I should seek medical attention for?
