Hello! I Just Recently Bought The Ph-D Boric Acid Vaginal

Hello! I just recently bought the ph-D Boric Acid Vaginal Suppositories. I got them today and also started my period today. I plan on waiting until after my menstral cycle to begin taking them but had a couple questions beforehand. If I decided to take them now while on my period, will it still be effective? If yes, I use tampons, will it be less effective if I do? Most importantly, do these boric acid suppositories decrease effectiveness on birth control like antibiotics do? Thanks in advance.
