Hello I Keep Hearing A Ringing In My Head, And

Hello I keep hearing a ringing in my head, and when i was younger it was just an annoying ringing that I could hear when it got too quiet around me, but over the last couple days it has gotten worse, and I can hear it all the time, and it is really hurting my head.... is there anyway i can make i stop? or at least make it go back to the way it was when I was a child? or can someone please at least eplain what is going on?
