Hello, I Need A Medical Opinion Regarding Handling Medical Marijuana

Hello, I need a medical opinion regarding handling medical marijuana while pregnant. I live in a state where it is legal to grow medical marijuana and I work as a caregiver and this requires me to be around it quite often. I always wear gloves, though they are not latex or waterproof, and I do not ingest/smoke marijuana. I just need to know how safe it is to trim the buds and handle marijuana and if by doing so could get into my system or cause harm to my unborn baby? Thank you.
