Hello, I Need An Antibiotic For A Serious Kidney Infection;

Hello, I need an antibiotic for a serious kidney infection; however, I have had C. diff three times - the last time I was hospitalized for 7 weeks before I could be released C. diff free. All I can find on the internet are lists of antibiotics to avoid getting C. diff. My question is: What is the best and safest antibiotic that my urologist can prescribe for my kidney infection so that I do not develop C. diff again? (I am allergic to Penicillin and Trimethoprim.)
