Hello. I Recently Just Got On Birth Control And Started

Hello. I recently just got on birth control and started taking the pills. I have been bleeding every since and it's actually worrying me. Is it a period? Is it normal? I also took plan b a little bit after getting on the pills because I had unprotected sex and didn't want to risk anything. Please help me understand what's going on.
