Hello. I Recently Just Went To The Doctor With Pain

Hello. I recently just went to the doctor with pain of a UTI. My doctor sent me for a urine sample and sent it off for a culture. It came back that I had an acute UTI. However, my boyfriend was just tested positive for Chlamydia, and I am worried I have it. Does cultures show if I am prone to anything like that? His doctor told him he got it from his roommate that currently has it as well. Is that possible? Also, I was prescribed antibiotics (Cipro) Can that cure an STI? I don't have any symptoms.
